Small group, real Iceland.

Iceland is our home. Anyone can show you Iceland, but we'd rather you actually live it: real, close-up, unhurried, with someone local beside you who knows why this place is the way it is.
North Fantasy has been doing exactly that since 2003. We're a family-run, women-owned, second-generation inbound operator based in Hafnarfjörður, just outside Reykjavík — proud to be the first Chinese-owned travel agency in Iceland and one of the country's longest-established specialist day-tour companies. Over twenty years we've guided travellers from across the world through some of Iceland's most iconic experiences: the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, the Golden Circle, the South Coast, and the Northern Lights.
The company was born from a simple idea: two women who loved Iceland and believed the best travel advice always comes from someone who genuinely cares. That belief still drives everything we do.
One thing has never changed: we keep our day-tour groups small, with a maximum of eight people. A small group means real conversation with your guide, the freedom to linger where it's worth lingering, and a day that feels like yours — not a schedule you're being moved through.

What we believe

We think travel is richer when it's guided by people who truly know a place. In a world run by algorithms and five-star averages, the most memorable trips still begin with a personal recommendation — someone saying "this made me think of you." That's the role we want to play.

North Fantasy helps you travel better by uncovering the most authentic Iceland. We won't just show you the country — we'll share it with you the way we share it with people we care about: the places we actually go, the food we actually eat, the stops that don't make it onto the standard itinerary but stay with you long after you're home.

Our Tours

We offer four small-group day tours departing from Reykjavík — Snæfellsnes, the Golden Circle, the South Coast, and the Northern Lights — with a maximum of eight guests per tour. We also offer private and VIP experiences for those who prefer a fully tailored itinerary, and airport transfers between Keflavik and Reykjavík.

Every tour is led by a local, multilingual guide (English, Icelandic, and Mandarin). Our vehicles are our own. Every recommendation we make comes from decades of actually being here, living here, and loving this island.

We work with Icelandic suppliers and point our guests toward locally owned businesses wherever we can. The most authentic Iceland comes from the people who live in it.
