Iceland is almost entirely cashless, so while you are welcome to bring some cash, you will be able to pay by card almost everywhere. Most businesses also have no minimum spend for card payments.

The hotels in the Reykjavík area will be 4-star properties, while the hotels in the countryside will range from 3- to 4-star accommodations. These are trusted partners of ours, and we have been working with them successfully for many years.

However, we recommend bringing warm clothing for the day, including warm socks, gloves, and a hat. What you need will depend on the weather and your personal tolerance to the cold. It can get a little windy!

As mentioned in the exclusions, lunch is not included in the tour fee. However, we will ensure that sufficient time is allocated for a lunch break in an area where food can be purchased.

Dinner will take place at the hotels and at some of our favourite restaurants.

Dinner meals will consist of three dishes: a starter, a main course, and a dessert. We have made it our mission to ensure that we choose local dishes and offer a variety of options. The dishes will change every day; for example, one day the main course may be fish, while the next day it may be meat.

We recommend you bring your own swimming suit. Some facilities may offer the swimming suit rental though. A towel is not necessary, it is complimentary in all the baths and lagoons.

Iceland is beautiful all year around: summer (May to August) for long days & mild weather; winter (October to March) for shorter days and colder weather, ideal for Northern Lights & ice caves.
