See the Northern Lights on a small group tour from Reykjavík — maximum 8 people, one expert local guide, and a flexible route that follows the aurora wherever it appears that night. No fixed itinerary, no crowds, no luck left to chance. Just you, a small group, and one of the most extraordinary natural displays on Earth.
The Northern Lights are only visible during night time when the sky is dark. The best season to observe them is between September and April around 9PM till 2AM.
Aurora shows can be unpredictable even with the best conditions. We want to encourage you to be mindful and patient. They are something totally worth waiting for!
Please have in mind that weather conditions can be very unpredictable in Iceland, therefore North Fantasy cannot guarantee that you will see the Northern Lights or how they will appear in the night sky.
At night the temperature drops quite a lot, we advise you to dress appropriately with several layers and thermals.
How to capture the Auroras?
Use a Tripod: Stabilizes your camera for long exposures.
Manual Settings: Adjust ISO, aperture, and shutter speed for optimal results.
Bring extra Batteries: Cold temperatures can drain battery life quickly.
You can also ask our guides for further help and tips during the tour.
